William Lenward Williford

William Lenward Williford Jr., born on June 3, 1952, in Sandersville, GA, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024, at his home in Lincolnton, GA, at the age of 72. Known by most that knew him as Len but was affectionately known as "Brother" to those closest to him. He was also known for his sharp wit, generosity, and a spirit of adventure, Len left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Len was a man of remarkable intellect and dedication. He proudly served his country and furthered his education in the army, where he earned an engineering degree. His commitment to excellence and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own business, Tre Brices Inc. Through his company, he traveled the globe performing safety audits for major corporations, combining his love for travel with his passion for safety and engineering.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Len was a devout Baptist by faith. He is remembered with love by his sister, Evelyn Johnson, and cousin, Wayne Williford alongside a host of other cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Williford Sr. and Betty Williford. Len had an array of interests that kept him busy and brought him great joy. He was an avid collector, with an impressive collection of Winchester rifles reflecting his appreciation for craftsmanship and history. His interest in numismatics led him to gather a significant collection of silver coins from various countries, a testament to his travels and his eye for detail. His presence was a gift to those around him, and his absence will be felt deeply by his family, friends, and the numerous lives he touched through his work and personal endeavors. Len lived a full life, marked by his pursuit of knowledge, his commitment to his work, and the love he had for his family and friends. As we bid farewell to Len we take comfort in knowing that his life was one well-lived. Though he may be gone, the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. A memorial service will be held to honor the life and memory of William Lenward Williford Jr. on October 26, 2024 at 5pm at the Sunset Auction House in Thomson, GA.
