Bobby Widener

Harlem, GA – Mr. William Robert "Bobby" Widener, Jr., 67, entered into rest July 23, 2018.

Mr. Widener was the son of the late William "Billy" Robert Widener, Sr. and the late Sara Rabun Widener. He grew up in Thomson, Georgia and was employed as a plumber for Georgia Regional Hospital for over 30 years. Bobby enjoyed hunting and loved the Georgia Bulldogs and baseball. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Widener was predeceased by his daughter, Michelle Widener Stewart and grand-daughter, Wynter Richardson.

Survivors include his son, Brian Widener of Harlem, GA; daughter, April Widener (Danny Ellington) of Wrens, GA; brothers, Don Widener of Grovetown, GA and Gussie Widener of Harlem, GA; six grandchildren, Courtney Stewart, Shelbie Widener, Tony Stewart, Ethan Martinez, Drake Ellington, and Gaige Ellington; and great grandchild, Alahna Hudson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church with Reverends Don Widener and Chad Widener officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
