William H. Mims

Mr. William H. "Billy" Mims, 85 of Metasville Rd. died Saturday, October 13th at the Georgia War Vetarans Nursing Home in Augusta. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 14th at 4 pm at Anthony Chapel United Methodist Church in Lincoln County. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington. Vistitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 2:30 pm until the hour of the the service. Mr. Mims, son of the late Paul W. and Mary Matthews Mims, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, and had been employed by Pelham Ward Farms, and the Lincoln County Road Department. He is survived by his wife, Frances Godwin Mims Son: Paul J. Mims, Hoschton, Ga Daughter: Beth Mims Fazio, and husband, John of Evans, Ga Grandchildren: Delaney M. Andrews, and husband, Matt Lindsay M. Fisher, and husband, Wes Whitney Fazio Hillary Fazio Tyler Fazio Anna Beth Fazio Great- grandchildren: Jackson Hartley, Jenna Grace Andrews, and Olivia Fazio
