William "Little Chris" Long, Jr.

Mr. William "Little Chris" Long, Jr. 36 of Augusta Hwy., Lincolnton entered into rest on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at University Hospital, Augusta.

A visitation and viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Ave., Lincolnton, Ga.

Mr. Long was born on August 18, 1985 in Augusta, Ga. He grew up in Waynesboro, Ga. and graduated from Burke County High School in 2003. After high school, he went to work in the family logging business. He and his family moved to Lincolnton a few months ago as most of their logging is done in this area. When he got the chance to get away from work, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

His paternal grandfather, Jimmy long and maternal grandfather, Danny Flakes preceded him in death.

He will be greatly missed by his family which includes his wife Brittany Watkins Long; father, Chris Long of Lincolnton and mother, Deborah Morris of Waynesboro; stepchildren, Madisyn Dimmick, Courtnei Dimmick and D.J.; brothers, Dylan Long, and Ryan Spires; sister, Shelbie Morris of Tennesssee; paternal grandmother, Elaine Long; maternal grandmother, Shirley Flakes.
