William "Scott" Cavnor

William "Scott" Cavnor, 61, Dearing, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2022.

Scott was born in San Diego, California on March 23, 1961, grew up in Lincolnton, Georgia, and moved to the McDuffie County area in 1981.  He was a mechanic by trade and an employee with Lift One.   Scott enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Robert "Bud" Cavnor and Lenace "Jeanette" Robinette Cavnor; his daughter, Charli Cavnor and his brothers, Robert Robbie Cavnor and Tim Cavnor (Dottie).  His survivors include his wife, Maria Cavnor; daughters, Karessa Ferguson (Drew & Donovan), ReBecca McClelland (Robbie), Kelci Langston (Ty) and Eastiana Cavnor; his sister, Bonnie Kaye Jacobs (Roger) and his grandchildren, James Ferguson, Kira Ferguson, Evan McClelland, Jocelyn McClelland, Ellie-Mae McClelland, Wade McClelland, Kellianna Langston and Leilanie Langston.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 500 Holt St., Thomson, Georgia on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Bro.
