Warren Marvin Whitaker, Jr. Milledgeville, GA- Mr. Warren Marvin Whitaker, Jr., 45, formerly of Thomson, GA entered into rest November 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 01, 2013 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scotty Jarrad officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mr. Whitaker was a native of McDuffie County, GA and was a 1986 graduate of Thomson High School. He was a graduate of University of Georgia, served in the U. S. Army and the U. S. Air Force and was retired from civil service at Warner Robbins Air Force Base. Survivors include his mother and step father, Jeanette and Kenny LaBruyere of Blairsville, GA; son, Warren Michael Whitaker of Warner Robbins and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral  Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
