Lincolnton, GA - Warren Franklin Barrs, 67 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at University Hospital, Augusta, Ga.
Mr. Barrs, son of the late William and Alif R. Barrs was born in Hinesville, Ga. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and had retired from General Motors. After retirement, he and his wife moved from Ohio to Lincolnton. His sister, Ruby and brother, Jim, preceded him in death.
He leaves his wife, Ruth Barrs, and sons, Kelly, Jon, Tim and Tony.
Also, he is also survived by his sister, Faye, brothers, Benny, Bill and Bobby, five grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
His body has been cremated and no services are immediately planned.
