Wanda Cason Hyman Kitchens, 74, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on February 8, 2023.

Wanda was born in Washington, Georgia, on June 22, 1948, and grew up in Warren County.  She lived in the Cadley Community of Warren County until she moved to Thomson 20 years ago. Wanda was Baptist by faith, a member of New Providence in Cadley and attended First Baptist Church Warrenton.  She owned and operated Millie's Florist from 1975 until 2009 when she opened Sweet Ts Restaurant.  Wanda loved spending every day working with her daughter, Traci, at the restaurant and loved cooking her recipes and gardening.

Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Hyman; her mother Ruby Cason and her daughter, Terri Dean.  Her survivors include her devoted husband, Don Kitchens; her daughter, Traci Arrington (Freddy) of Warrenton; her grandchildren, Matthew Dean, Bethany Forrester (Jeremy) and Cane Gilmer (Brett) and her great grandchild, Benny Forrester.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia.  The funeral service and interment will be private for the family only.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
