Walter Alvin Kennedy, Sr. W.S. Badcock Corp Thomson, Georgia- Mr. Walter Alvin Kennedy, Sr., 70, of Story-Randall Rd. entered into rest September 16, 2012 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 o'clock, a.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grant Cantrell and Rev. Kenneth Garvin officiating. Mr. Kennedy was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Georgia and was the son of the late Johnny Alvin Kennedy and the late Emma Byce Kennedy. He was a retired auditor with W.S. Badcock Corporation and was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife, Edna Usry Kennedy; daughters, Teresa Ann Bitterman and husband, Jim of Thomson, Pamela Denise Wilson and husband, Mike of Eastonolee, GA, Vickie Lynn Tector and husband, John of Thomson; son, Walter A. Kennedy, Jr. and wife, Connie of Newport News, VA; sisters, Mabel Woods of Appling, Margaret Quick of Thomson, Dorothy Johnson of Ladson, SC, Sheila Thompson of Lancaster, SC; and 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
