Dearing,GA-Mr. Wallace Purvis, 70, of Brinkley Drive, entered into rest December 10, 2015 at Doctor's Hospital.

Mr. Purvis was born in Warren County, Georgia and was the son of the late Arthur Purvis and the late Lodella Hobbs Purvis. He lived in McDuffie County most of his life and was a retired carpenter. He enjoyed fishing hunting and saw milling. He was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Loretta Trippany (Terry); brother, Randolph Purvis; sister, Irene Emmert, DianneAdair and Polly Kent; grandchildren, Deric Bales and Michael Mobley. In addition to his parents Mr. Purvis was predeceased by daughter, Shannon Purvis; brothers, Marvin Purvis, James Purvis and sister, Meline Lyons.

Memorial services will be held at 2 o'clock, p.m., Monday, December 14, 2015, in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Brother Jack McCorkle officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
