Wade Woodruff Student THOMSON, GEORGIA - Jared Wade Woodruff, 16 of Stagecoach Road entered into rest July 20, 2011. Wade was a a student at Thomson High School and had participated in ROTC. He enjoyed all sports and was particularly interested in weightlifting, and liked playing video games. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Wade's friends said that he was full of laughter and loved spending time with others. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011 from the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Jonathon Beckum, Kyle Wallin, Lyle Arrington, Todd Goff, Colby Ellis,Dalton Jones and Matthew Bohler. Survivors include his mother Kelly Story and husband, Tommy, of Thomson and father Junior Woodruff and wife, Kathy, of Savannah, Ga; two brothers Kevin Woodruff, Hephzibah, Ga. and Justin Story, Thomson; a sister, Elizabeth Beckum, also of Thomson; sisters, Melissa Hazel and Tabatha Mendoza; grandparents Mary Woodruff, Hephzibah, GA. and Delsie Story and Tommy Story, of Thomson. Mr. Woodruff was preceded in death by his grandparents Wilford "Woody" Woodruff, Sandra and William Beckum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Beggs Funeral Home.
