Social Circle, Georgia – Mrs. Vivian Rachels Booth, 81, entered into rest, Thursday, February 28, 2013. She was the wife of the late Arthur Corbett Booth.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M., Saturday, March 2, 2013 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Booth was born in Glascock County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Prez Rachels and the late Maude Thompson Rachels. She lived in Covington most of her life and was retired from Bell South where she worked for twenty four years as an information operator. Mrs. Booth was Baptist by faith. She was a devoted mother who always put her children above else. She will be remembered for her huge smile!

Survivors include; sons, Robin Booth of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Dell Booth of Aiken, South Carolina; daughter, Beverlee Booth of Covington, Georgia; sister, Lonice Hobbs of Thomson; grandchildren, Stacy Freeman, Tracy Little, Robi Booth and Brandee Booth; six great grandchildren. Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her brother, the late Preston Rachels.

Memorials may be made to Abbey Hospice Foundation, Attn: Kelly, P. O. Box 68, Social Circle, Georgia 30025.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M., Saturday at the funeral home.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
