Virginia Stevenson Mcclearen

Mrs. McClearen, daughter of the late Clifford and Ida Ruth Wolfe Stevenson was a native of Lincoln County. She had lived in Washington most of her life and operated Virginia's Beauty Salon for over 45 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Washington, National Cosmetologist Association, and the Town and Country Garden Club which she served as president of in 1959. Her husband, William A. "Bill" McClearen, Jr. preceded her in death. Survivors: Daughter: Valerie M. Jackson, and husband, Bobby, of Tignall Son: Billy McClearen, and wife, Barbara of Tifton, Ga. Grandchildren: Steve Jackson, Rob Jackson, Leianna M. Ishler, and Brittany McClearen 7 Great- grandchildren: Tabor, Brock, Maura, Hunter, Brent, Wilkes, and Lexie
