Vickie Gibson Family Eye Care Associates Thomson, Georgia- Miss Vickie Lynn Gibson, 57 of Shiloh Rd. entered into rest January 20, 2011 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Carpenter officiating. Pallbearers will be: Robert Hughes, Jr., Michael McQuaig, Scott McQuaig, Earl Usry, Jimmy Crawley and Jimmy Williams, Sr. Miss Gibson was a lifelong native of Thomson, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Sterling T. Gibson and the late Berma Ansley Gibson. She was the office manager for Family Eye Care Associates in Thomson and had worked for Usry Television Repair for many years. Miss Gibson was a Methodist by faith. Survivors include her brother, Sterling "Bubba" Gibson and wife, Lori of Thomson, GA; nephews, Samuel Gibson, Lexington, GA, Tyler Owens, Thomson, GA; aunt, Thelma Crosby, Cleveland, GA; and a special friend, Gary Hinman, Norwood, GA. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2623 Washington Rd.-F104, Augusta, GA 30904. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2011 at Beggs Funeral Home 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia 706-595-4100.
