Vera Abbott

Mrs. Vera J. Abbott of Hill Street, Warrenton, Georgia entered into rest March 15, 2013.  She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon Abbott.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 outside at the Knox Theater, Warrenton with Lane McMichael officiating.

Mrs. Abbott was born in Anderson, South Carolina but lived in Warrenton, Georgia most of her life. She was a homemaker and worked at the Knox Theater, Warrenton for 48 years. Mrs. Abbott was also a member of First United Methodist Church, Warrenton.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Abbott of Warrenton, GA; four grandchildren, Paul Phelps, Pam Phelps Hubert, Pat Phelps, and Wendy McMichael; and nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Knox Theater c/o the Warren County Chamber of Commerce.
