Valerie Lynn (Swanson) Montgomery

Thomson, GA-Mrs. Valerie Lynn Montgomery, 74, entered into rest April 16, 2016.

Mrs. Montgomery was born in Bloomington, IL and was the daughter of the late Ervin Swanson and the late Serena Lundy Swanson. She had lived in Warren County since 2005. Mrs. Montgomery retired from Thomson Chrysler-Jeep as a Service Writer and was a member of the Southern Cruisers.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Montgomery was predeceased by her son, Rodney Ray Palmertree.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Gregory Nelson Montgomery; a son, Brent Ervin Palmertree; a daughter, Julie Lynne Palmertree Pauly; and a granddaughter, Amber Palmertree.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home.

It is the family's request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
