Traci Wheatley Bussey

Mrs. Traci Wheatley Bussey, 51 of Forest Lake Estates entered into rest on Friday, June 22, 2018.

Mrs. Bussey, daughter of the late James Manuel and Linda Callaway Wheatley, was born in Wilkes County, graduated from WWCHS and received a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Augusta State University. She had lived in Lincoln County most of her life and had served as the Lincoln County Finance Director for the past 11 years. Also, she was currently serving on the Family Connections Advisory Board.

Her family includes her husband of 30 years, Daniel Brett "Danny" Bussey; son, Matthew Brett Bussey; Ashleigh Marie Bussey and companion, Trent McKinney; brothers, Jimmy Wheatley and wife Elaine and Scott Wheatley and wife Angie of Banks County, Ga; sister, Denise Wheatley Armour and husband Tracy of Rayle; grandchildren, Aydan James Bussey, Braydon Lee McKinney, Madeline Rose McKinney.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
