Tommy Whiddon Thompson

Tommy Thompson Warrenton, GA - Mr. Tommy Thompson, 40, of Little Brier Creek Church Road, entered into rest July 29, 2015. Tommy was a lifelong resident of Warren County, GA and the son of the late Alton Ware Thompson and the late Barbara Yvonne Petty Thompson. He attended Briarwood Academy and graduated from Thomson High School in 1993. He was an electrician with Whitaker electric for many years. His passion was cattle farming, hunting, fishing and he loved dogs. Tommy was also a member of Little Brier Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jackie W. Thompson of Warrenton; sister, Tammy Stegall (John) and niece, Ashley Christine Stegall all of Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock, a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Little Brier Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. It is the family's desire that memorial contributions be made to Little Brier Creek Baptist Church or the McDuffie or Richmond County Animal Shelter. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, GA is in charge.
