TOM LUCKEY DEPUTY SHERIFF MR. THOMAS RILEY "TOM" LUCKEY, 56 of Moss Road, Thomson, GA entered into rest August 26, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard C. Dendler officiating. Mr. Luckey was a native of McDuffie County, Georgia and was the son of the late Sammy Luckey, Sr. and the late Christine Kelley Luckey. He was a retired Deputy Sheriff from the McDuffie County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Luckey was also a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife: Debbie Luckey, Thomson, GA; step-son, Charles Young, Knoxville; step-daughter, Trianne Young, Augusta; brother, Sammy Luckey, Jr., Thomson; sister, Beth L. Smith, Thomson; step-grandchildren, Anthony Winn, Marcus Winn and Avery Young. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila L. Chalker.
