Tina Lori Dampier Heaberlin, 63, passed away suddenly on October 4, 2024. In accordance with Tina's wishes, she has been cremated.
A Celebration of Life for Tina will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Oasis Church, 2228 GA-88 Hephzibah, GA 30815.
Tina was born in Augusta, Georgia and lived in Warner Robbins and Hephzibah, Georgia. She was a graduate of George P. Butler High School where she played on the tennis team, and attended Augusta University, graduating from the Medical College of Georgia. Tina worked as a Radiological Technologist for 42 years and was considered by many colleagues as "the best in the business."
Tina will be remembered for her great sense of humor and infectious laugh, her kindness and compassion, her faith in God and her big heart. She loved her Georgia Bulldogs!
Tina is survived by her brother Jimmy Dampier (Shirley), sister Pam Dampier (Steve), and her niece Ali Beischer (Alex), her aunts, Jeannine L. Renew, Iris Price Lanier and Connie Lanier, her four-legged companion, Tybee, and many friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Dampier and Polly Lanier Dampier Cumbee, her husband Dale Heaberlin, her daughter Emily Taylor Dixon, and her grandparents Marley C. "Pop" Lanier and Laura Mae Bell "Ma" Johnson Lanier.
Tina will be deeply missed by her family, friends and colleagues.
