Tim Carson

Tim Carson Thomson, GA-Mr. Tim Donald Carson, Sr.,  80, entered into rest July 8, 2015. Mr. Carson was born on February 3, 1935 in Baxley, GA and was the son of the late Edward Roland Carson and the late Fannie Crummey Carson. He attended Georgia Southern College and also served 8 years in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Mary Carson; children, Raya Carson (Jeffrey), Tim D. "Bo" Carson, Jr. (Kelly), Kyja Carson Lee (Mark), Wendy White and Pamela Carson; brother, Edward Lanier Carson (Lenna); 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mr. Carson was an avid musician and artist. His passion for music resonates in all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project. In place of a memorial service, a music candle light service will take place upon notification to friends and family. Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia is in charge.
