Mr. Thomas Louis "Tom" Guillebeau, Jr., 48 of Guillebeau Rd. died Thursday, August 25th at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 28th, 2011 at 4 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Revs. Tom Kalliokoski and Ficklen Guin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Wendell Gresham, Roy H. Guillebeau, Jr., William R. Guillebeau, Manuel Manrique, Dwayne Evans, Doug Gresham, Sam Smith and Michael Turner will serve as pallbearers. Legionnaires, Sons of the American Legion and the Auxilliary of American Legion #194 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Tom was born in Portsmouth, Va. on September 4th, 1962. In recent years, he had lived in Clayton, Ga. where he had owned a construction and carpentry business. Earlier this year, he moved to the old Guillebeau home in the Maxim community in Lincoln County to be with his mother during his illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Guillebeau, Sr., brother, Roy H. Guillebeau, III; and his grandparents, Claude Gresham and Valerie Gresham Fortson, and Peyton and Sara Guillebeau Banks.
