Ted Anthony Sprouse

Ted Anthony Sprouse, 84, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2024.

He was born in Grovetown, Georgia, grew up in Augusta, Georgia and lived most of his life traveling for his job.  Ted served his country in the Navy and was a construction superintendent by trade until his retirement.  He enjoyed fishing, and golf and as he got older, he enjoyed his rocking chair on the front porch and especially loved spending time with friends and family.

Ted was preceded in death by parents, Harry Sprouse and Sara Broxton Sprouse; brother, Harry Allen Sprouse; and his son, Ted Allen Sprouse.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly Sprouse, his sons, Timothy Sprouse and Robert Morris; his daughters, Catherine Eatman, Cheyenne Sprouse and Cynthia Wall; his grandchildren, Leach Rosalas, Travis Dylan Sprouse, Raymond Slate, Samantha Chavous and Jason Wall; numerous great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren and many other extended family.

A memorial service will be held in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
