Mrs. Sybil B. Ivey, 92,entered into rest on March 22nd, 2013 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, Ga.
Mrs. Ivey, a resident of Heritage Health Care in Washington, was born in Wilkes County, GA to the late William Eris and Annie Lou Rousey Blackmon. She lived most of her life in Lincoln County, having retired from the textile industry, and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons: Alan Ivey and wife, Sandra, of Lincolnton and Bobby Ivey and wife, Tina, of Milledgeville; a sister, Mary Tommie Bradford of Brawley, CA; three grandsons: Travis Ivey, Matt Ivey, and Gavin Ivey; and four great-grandchildren: Michael Ivey, Jordan Ivey, Hailey Ivey, and Caleb Ivey.
Funeral services will be held at the Rehoboth Baptist Church on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11:00am with Revs. Stephen Rayner and Rob Cohen officiating. Interment will follow in the Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Alan Ivey, 3028 Lovelace Rd. or on Sunday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Ave., Lincolnton, Ga. 30817.
