Susie M. Bufford

Mrs. Susie "Sue" Bufford, 81 of Tignall, Ga., entered into rest on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Athens Regional Medical Center,  Athens.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Tignall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm at the Tignall Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Mrs. Bufford, daughter of the late Mellon and Roberta Hilley Arnold, was a lifelong resident of Wilkes County. She was a beautician and of the Baptist faith. Her brother, George "Buddy" Arnold and sisters, Geanette Christopher, and Hazel Harper, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Brown and husband, Ray of Young Harris, Ga, Barbara Wheatley and husband, Donald of Washington; son, Van Allen Bufford, Jr. and wife, Beth of Washington; sister: Daisy Williford of Lexington, Ga; 10 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren; special Friend: Ernest Moon, Washington.
