Norwood, GA- Mrs. Susan Harper Smith, 62, of Norwood, GA entered into rest June 2, 2016.

Mrs. Smith was a lifelong resident of Norwood, GA.  She graduated from Warren County High School in 1971 and was a member of the Norwood United Methodist Church. Mrs. Smith was the Owner and Operator of the Norwood Mercantile.  She was predeceased by her father, William B. Harper.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Phil Smith; two sons, Clay Smith of Cleveland, TN and Jason Smith of Norwood, GA; a daughter, Jennifer Smith of Warrenton, GA; her mother, Hildred Harper of Norwood, GA; a brother, Billy Harper, Jr. of Thomson, GA; two sisters, Kathryn Wood of Norwood, GA and Rosemary Register of Thomson, GA; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Sunday, June 12 ^th at Norwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Richards officiating.

It is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to Norwood Untied Methodist Church, P. O. Box 114, Nowood, Ga 30821.

Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge.

It is also the family's request that people attending dress casual.
