Dearing, GA-Susan Rene Frazer Thigpen went home to be with her Savior on July 6, 2022.  She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 8, 1959. She lived in Savannah and moved to Thomson, Georgia when she was 14.  Susan graduated from Thomson High School in 1977 and earned an Associate's Degree as a Medical Office Assistant from Phillips Business College in 1979.  She started her career as a dispatcher for the ambulance service at Doctors Hospital, moved on to work as an Executive Administrative Assistant at White Columns, then went to work for HP Pelzer where she was still currently employed as the Purchasing Agent.  Susan enjoyed camping, going to the beach, reading, talking and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Susan was a woman devoted to her Lord, family and friends.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Hix Frazer, Jr. and Jo Helen Ansley Frazer. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Lynn Clayton Thigpen; her son Matthew Collins McEver; her stepchildren, Adam Clayton Thigpen and Jenny Lynn Carpenter (Clay); her sister, Carol Frazer McTier (Troy) of Washington, Georgia; six grandchildren, Lillian Evans, Riley McEver, Evan Denton, Wyatt Thipgen, Elijah Thigpen and Natalea Denton, nieces, nephews and many beloved friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends at her visitation on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Second Baptist Church with Rev.
