Susan Cox Bryant

Mrs. Susan Cox Bryant, 60 of Leathersville Rd., entered into rest Tuesday, December 30th, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Bryant, daughter of the late James E. and Doris Smalley Cox, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. A 1972 graduate of LCHS, she was an accomplished pianist, having played at numerous churches throughout Lincoln County during her life. She was a member of Anthony Chapel United Methodist Church. Her husband, Dudley Bryant preceded her in death. Survivors: Sons: Eugene D. Bryant and wife, Lauren of Decatur Patrick J. Bryant, Lincolnton Daughter: Alicia I. Bryant, Lincolnton Brothers: Edward Cox, and wife, Bernice of Greenwood, SC Alvin Cox, and wife, June of Lincolnton Leon Cox and wife, Carol of Lincolnton Her precious grandchildren whom she adored, Elise Bryant, Charlotte Bryant, and Ethan Bryant Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Hephzibah Baptist Church in Lincoln County. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Friday evening at the funeral home.
