Sue Bowman Scott

Mrs. Betty Sue Bowman Scott, of Ashmore-Barden Road, entered into rest on June 25, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Scott, a native of Carthage, TN, was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Doris Burgess Bowman. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Ladies Auxilliary of the American Legion Post #192 in Evans, GA. Preceding her in death were two daughters: Roxanne Sircy and Cathy Sue Ashmore, and a brother: Billy Bowman. Survivors include her husband, Ruben A. Scott; a granddaughter, Bridget A. Partridge & husband, Kevin; a grandson, Scott Ashmore; son-in-law: Haynes Ashmore; two great grandchildren, Sadie and Presley Partridge; a sister, Dimple Banks all of Lincolnton; and a brother, Bobby Bowman & wife Carolyn of Tennessee. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 28 in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson, GA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, June 27, from 7:00 until 9:00PM
