Steve May THOMSON, GA. - Cecil Steve May, 55 of East Hall Street entered into rest March 14, 2011. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Interment services will follow in Westview Cemetery. Mr. May was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Georgia and was the son of the late Matthew William May and the late Catherine Reese May. He was retired from construction work and was a Baptist by faith. Survivors include his children, Stephanie Inmon, Willard, Ohio, Jacqueline Powell, Augusta, GA, Jamie Stewart, N. Augusta, SC, Chris Stewart, Wrens, GA; sister, Martha Perdue, Thomson, GA; brothers, Roy Newsome, Thomson, GA, James May, Gibson, GA; grandchildren, Dakota Howard, Jacob Trent; niece, Angie Stephens and husband, William, Dearing, GA; great-nieces and nephew, Erica Stephens, Cathy Stephens, Connor Stephens and Mandy Clark.
