Sonja Marie Gagliani, 26, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on September 19, 2024.

She was born in Augusta, Georgia on October 3, 1997, grew up in McDuffie County, attended Thomson High School, and lived most of her life in Thomson, Georgia.  Sonja loved the outdoors, riding 4-wheelers and side by sides and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed the beach and the mountains, loved animals, was hard working and was caring and would do anything for anybody.

Sonja is preceded in death by her grandparents, Faye Chambers and family, Joe Young and family and Martha Ann Jones and family. Her survivors include her parents, Edward and Faye Young; her biological father, Tony Gagliani and family; her grandfather, Tony Piatchek and family; her brother, Christopher Chambers; stepbrother, Jonathan Young; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia.  Her funeral service will follow in Beggs Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with the interment at Westview Cemetery, Thomson, Georgia. Pallbearers for the service are Chris Chambers, Richard Johnson, Johnny Price, Shawn Price, Jonathan Williams and Pokey Parks.
