Sharon "Sherri" Guy

Thomson, GA. – Mrs. Sharon "Sherri" Guy, 58, of Ballard Rd. went home to be with her Lord on May 15, 2017. Sherri grew up in Stockbridge, Georgia and was a graduate of Sandersville Technical College. She worked at Fort Gordon for H&B Food Services as cashier for many years. Sherri was a Baptist by faith and very active in the VFW Post #6445 serving as President of the Auxiliary.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Jerry "Goatman" Guy; mother, Evelyn Cooley McDaniel; daughters, Monica Thigpen (Brian), Brandi Hopson (Eric); son, Ronnie "Buddy" Ellis (Amanda); brothers, Tommy Harbin, Tim Wall, Chuck Ellis; sisters, Felicia Johnson and Terri Bales and 4 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Sallie Hill Cemetery, Warrenton with Brother Charles Gunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
