Dearing, GA- Mr. Scott Lamar Craven, 31, of Luckey's Bridge Rd. entered into rest August 22, 2014 in an automobile accident. His daughter, Lillian McKenzie Craven died later that day at Children's Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Bray officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Antrone Brewer, Alan Wood, Jason Powell, Nick English, Joe Hinson and Le'Ron Seale.
Mr. Craven was born in Charleston, SC but lived in McDuffie County, GA most of his life. He was a 2002 graduate of Thomson High School. and was the owner and operator of Craven Mobile Entertainment. He was a devoted NASCAR, Dale, Jr. and Clemson Fan.
Survivors include his mother, Becky Craven of Dearing, GA; father, David Craven of Charleston, SC; sisters, Billie Jean Portwood of Dearing, GA and Pamela Seibert of Marietta, GA; brother, Jason Craven of Tampa, FL; paternal grandmother, Jean White of Charleston, SC.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
