Sawyer Ray Powell, 3, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2022.

Sawyer was born in Augusta, Georgia on Februay 11, 2019, and grew up in Thomson, Georgia.   He loved playing with toy cars and trucks, going fishing, going swimming, just being outside and characterized as being "the leader".  He was always busy, never sat still and loved his family and friends.

Sawyer is preceded in death by his siblings, Raven Renee Powell and Mason Riley Powell; and his paternal grandfather, Mikel Powell, Sr.  His survivors include his parents, Mikel Powell, Jr. and Tiffany Robertson Powell; his paternal grandmother, Karen Powell; his maternal grandparents, Gary and Toni Chambers; his siblings, Christian Leigh Powell, Asher Powell and Willow Marie Powell; and aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia, being officiated by Rev.
