Mrs. Sarah Nell Myers, 81, Washington, Georgia, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was the wife of the late Robert Gene "Bobby" Myers. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William Fred Eberhardt, Sr. and Laura Escoe Eberhardt Taylor; her brothers, William Fred Eberhardt, Jr. and George Eberhardt; her sisters, Anne Truelove and Rosella Eberhardt and her son-in-law, Jack Bruce, Jr.
Sarah Nell was a lifelong resident of Wilkes County, Georgia, worked in the meat department at IGA until her retirement. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Sarah Nell was a truly kind soul and never met a stranger. She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading her Bible and devotion books and loved spending time with her family and friends and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeannie Palmer (David) of Washington, Georgia and Angela Mobley (William) of Metasville, Georgia; her brothers, David Eberhardt (Belle) and Joe Eberhardt; her grandchildren, Hannah Hendry (Jay), Joni Thompson (Thomas), Summer Safrit, Jennifer Scarboro (Austin), Austin Mobley and Tyler Mobley; and her great grandchildren, MadiRae Johnson, Tinsley Hendry, Sophie Hendry, Beckham Mobley, Rosella Scarboro and Charlotte Scarboro.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, Georgia, being officiated by Rev. Nathan Palmer. Friends will be received at the graveside following the service and may call at the Myer's residence, 2070 Big Cedar Road, Washington, Georgia 30673.
