Sarah Elizabeth Flowers

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Flowers, 77 of McCormick, SC entered into rest on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at her residence.Mrs. Flowers, daughter of the late Arthur L. and Genevive Miller, was a native of Kokomo, Indiana. She was a retired high school teacher from the Toombs County Board of Education in Vidalia, Ga. For  the past 20 years,  she and her husband, Warren have resided at Savannah Lakes Village in McCormick, S.C. where she was a member of  the Lutheran Church By The Lake. Her sister, Eleanor Jane Weyand, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Warren P. Flowers; sons, Michael Flowers of St. Paul, MN., Matthew Flowers and wife, Denise of Chickaloon, Alaska; Daughter, Melissa F. Smith and husband, Barry of Farmington, NM; Sister, Margie Winslow of St. Augustine, Fl.; 10 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren

A committal service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Lutheran Church By The Lake Columbarium with Rev. James Kinsler officiating.
