Sara Cooper Reid

Thomson, Georgia- Mrs. Sara Cooper Reid, 78, of Wrightsboro Rd, entered into rest December 31, 2016 at University Hospital McDuffie.

Mrs. Reid was born in the Bealle Springs Community of Warren County, GA to the late Willie Joe Cooper and the late Doris Dye Cooper. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Chance Independence Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Rex/Howard Reid; two sons, Danny Cason and Johnny Cason; and two brothers, Edgar Cooper and Gene Cooper.

Survivors include her sons, Donnie Cason and Dennis Cason; daughters, Dianne Nunnely and Debra Sparks; sisters, Dovie Howard and Sallie Johnson. Also, twenty-three grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 02, 2017 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Reese officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday prior to the services.
