Mrs. Sara Myers Lamar, 80 of Lexington Rd. entered into rest Thursday, April 24 ^th at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mrs. Lamar, daughter of the late Benjamin Otis and Addie Belle Rainwater Myers, was born in Wilkes county on May 21, 1933. She was a homemaker and member of Victory Baptist Church. Her husband, Alvin E. "Gene" Lamar preceded her in death in October of 2012.

Daughter: Debbie L. Danner and husband, Randy of Tignall

Sons: Alvin E. "Al" Lamar, Jr. and wife, Elena of Thomson

Benjamin C. "Ben" Lamar and wife Cathie of Washington

Sister: Gladys Roth, Washington

Sisters-in-law: Margaret Myers and Sarah Nell Myers both of Washington

Emma Myers, Opelika, Al.

6 Great- grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 27 ^th at 4 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m until the hour of the service at the church.
