Sara Combs Jackson

Mrs. Sara Combs Jackson, 71 of Goldmine Rd., entered into rest Mon., Nov. 7, 2011 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9th from 2 p..m. until 2:45 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church. The funeral will follow at 3 o'clock p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Broom and Al George officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jackson, daughter of the late Joe Will and Louise Thornton Combs,was a lifelong resident of Wilkes County. She was a homemaker and had taught Kindergarten at Victory Baptist Christian School. Also, she was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday School and served as pianist. Survivors: Husband: Thomas A. Jackson, Sr. Sons: Thomas A. Jackson, Jr., and wife, Teresa of Panama City Beach, Fl.
