Sara Frances Henderson

Biography

Mrs. Henderson, a native of the Beulah Community and daughter of the late Albert S. and Lunelle Beard Rhodes , had lived in Beech Island, S.C. for over 35 years before moving back to her home a few years ago. She was retired from Haverty's Furniture Company as credit manager. Her memberships include, Washington- Wilkes Garden Club, Tignall Homemaker's Club and Beulah Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU. Her husband, Charles Creighton Henderson, Jr., and brother, Albert S. Rhodes, Jr. both preceded her in death. Her family includes: Daughter: Frances H. Johnson, and husband, Chris of N. Augusta, SC Son: John Creighton Henderson, and wife, Cheryl of Aiken, SC Sisters: Betty Reese, Washington, Ga.; Barbara Oakley, Hampton, Ga.; and Patsy Mack, Tignall, Ga. Brothers: Robert Sanders Rhodes, Edward Rhodes, and William Rhodes, all of Tignall, Ga. Grandchildren: Ginny Lawrence, John Creighton Henderson, Jr., Katie Goff, and Brian Henderson Great- grandchildren: Tres Henderson, Alana Kate Henderson, Addie Goff, Creighton Lawrence, and Millie Lawrence
