Sandra Partridge Clark

Sandra Faye Partridge Clark, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on the 23rd of September, 2023, in Lincolnton, Ga. Born on February 26, 1942, in Appling, Ga, Sandra was the daughter of the late John H. and Willie Sleister Partridge. Sandra spent her formative years in Columbia County, where she graduated from Evans High School in 1960. She was known for her vibrant personality and her ability to bring laughter everywhere she went. Sandra often reminded her children to be who they are and not to worry about what other people think. Her philosophy was that a truly classy person can make anyone feel comfortable in any situation - a trait she embodied throughout her life. She is survived by her daughters, Cassy Stringfield (Rick) and Candy Smith (Elliott), and by her son, Chris Clark (Jill). She was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored. Sandra is survived by her sister, Patricia Slagle, her brother, John Partridge; brothers-in-law, Jim Slagle, John W. "Billy" Gibbs and Dan Wenham; sister-in-law, Deborah Tanner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Clark; her son, Clay Clark; grandsons Eli Clark, Walker Smith, and Jed Smith; great-grandson Bryce Driver; and sisters, Polly Wheatley and Linda Wilson. In her home, Sandra was the epitome of Southern hospitality, always welcoming visitors with a glass of sweet tea and a seat at her table. Her love for the Gaithers and good preaching was only surpassed by her love for her family, who was her heart. She led a life marked by selflessness and thoughtfulness, always putting the needs and happiness of others before her own. Sandra's radiant spirit and enduring faith were an inspiration to all who knew her. She now sits at the table of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Sandra's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 5pm at Grace Baptist Church, Evans. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church of Evans Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
