Sally Cooper Johnson, 88, Warrenton, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2024.

Sally was born and raised in Warrenton, Georgia. She loved spending time with her family and friends and working on her plastic canvas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Johnson, Sr.; her parents, Willie Joe and Doris Cooper; her siblings, Edgar Cooper, Gene Cooper and Sara Reid and her grandson, Kenny Johnson.  Mrs. Johnson's survivors include her sons, Leroy Johnson, Jr. of Lincolnton, Georgia, Billy Joe Johnson (Brenda) of Warrenton, Georgia and John Edward Johnson of Warrenton, Georgia; her daughter, Lynn Kent; her sister, Dovie Howard; her grandchildren, Melaine Grimes (Chris), Amanda Braswell (Travis), John Johnson, Jr., Ivey Partin (Stephan) and Nathan Kent; 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Her visitation will be held at Beggs Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to her funeral service on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia, being officiated by Rev. Bill South, with the interment at Millcreek Baptist Church Cemetery, 6252 Millcreek Church Road, Gibson, Georgia 30810.  Pallbearers for the service are Travis Braswell, Chris Grimes, Larry Kent, Brody Brasell, Tim Howard and Tyler Nunnely.
