Sally Bowes

Mrs. Sally Edna Patience Parker Bowes, 79 of Chestnut Ridge Road, McCormick, South Carolina entered into rest on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her residence.

Sally was born in Cutchogue, NY, a hamlet in Long Island and worked at The Long Island Oyster Factory in East Marion, NY until 1995. Afterwards, she moved to Lincolnton, Ga. and then to McCormick, SC where she was a retail clerk.   She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her family, and loved her three cats that she adopted, Mike, Molly, and Jake. Also, she attended Buffalo Baptist Church. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Carr Parker and Elsie Mae Raynor Parker, eight siblings, and her husband of 35 years, Mr. Douglas Bowes.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joan Farrand and husband Kenneth, and Sally Corbett; six grandchildren, Colette Yeatts and husband Jeremy, Jessica Nguyen and husband Shaun, Aeriell Bowick and husband Dock, Robert Farrand, Stephen Farrand, and Ryan Farrand; two great- grandchildren, TJ Parker Nguyen and Hadley Nguyen.
