Ruth Young Candler
Thomson, GA- Mrs. Ruth Young Candler, 93, of Whiteoak Rd. entered into rest June 28, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter L. Candler.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Melissa Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Thomson.
Mrs. Candler was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA and was the daughter of the late Dudley Young and the late Laurie Palmer Young. She was retired as a beautician. Mrs. Candler enjoyed gardening and she was a member of the Iris Garden Club. She was also a charter member of Young Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanie McCuin and husband, Ralph of St. Simons, GA. and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 at the funeral home.
