Mrs. Ruth W. Bryant, 74, wife of the late David Jackson Bryant of Bryant Rd. entered into rest on Wednesday, December 25th at Wills Memorial Hopsital, Washington.
Mrs. Bryant, one of nine children born to the late Charlie Ross and Annie Ruth Shaw Wiggins, was a native of Sumter County, but had lived in Lincoln County since 1968. She had been employed at Graves Mountain, served as EMT for Lincoln County EMS, Mayfair Mills, and was currently working at Accudata in Augusta. Also, she had volunteed for many years as Little League coach and was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church.
She will be greatly missed by her family including:
Daughters: Jackie B. Stephens and husband Chris of Augusta
Kitty Bryant, Lincolnton
Son: Shane Bryant, and wife, Stacy of Lincolnton
Sister: Annie Grace McCoy of Joplin, MO
Grandchildren: Jake Stephens, Lacey Adkins, Hannah Bryant, Jackson Bryant, and Cody Meadows
Great- grandchildren: Braelyn Stephens, Gunnar Bentley, and Ryker Adkins
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 28th at 2 o'clock p.m. at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6pm until 8pm on Friday evening at the funeral home.
