Rosa Lee Edwards

Thomson, GA-Mrs. Rosa Lee Rabun Edwards, 83, entered into rest December 8, 2017.

Mrs. Edwards was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA and the daughter of the late Otis Rabun and the late Willie Esther Street Rabun. In the past she worked with her sister, Catherine Neal, at Neal's BBQ in Harlem, but most of all enjoyed keeping children and grandchildren the better part of her life. She was a faithful and devoted homemaker. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Second Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Timothy J. Edwards; son, Vernon Edwards; brother, Otis Rabun; and sisters, Marcia Rabun and Catherine Neal.

Survivors include her sons, Glenn Edwards (Susan), Douglas Edwards (Wanda), Tim Edwards and Robert Edwards ( Elizabeth) all of Thomson, GA; sister, Margaret Hughes (Larry) of Dearing, GA, Patricia Wyatt (Billy) of Thomson, GA and 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2018 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Lester Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
