Rosa Lee Burgess Ashmore

Mrs. Rosa Lee Burgess Ashmore, 77 of Sunrise Dr. entered into rest on Monday, August 12 ^th at her residence.

Mrs. Ashmore, daughter of the late Leslie and Lillie  Martin Burgess, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County,  a self employed seamstress and attended First Assembly of God, Lincolnton.

Survivors:

Husband of 60 years,  John Richard "J.R." Ashmore, Jr.

Sons:

Rick Ashmore, Lincolnton and Philip Ashmore, Nashville, TN

Daughter: Tina McCombs, and husband, Mike of Lincolnton

Sister: Gail Burgess, Lincolnton

Grandchildren: Austin McCombs and Jordan McCombs

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14 ^th at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God, Lincolnton with Revs. Lanis Lewis, Terry Bonds and Donald Brady officiating. Interment will follow in the Lincolnton City Cemetery.
