Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Coleman, 73, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on December 3, 2024.
He was born in Washington, Georgia on October 5, 1951, and lived all his life in McDuffie County. Ronnie served his Country in the National Guard, worked as a foreman with Knox Rivers, Nordman Construction and Blair Construction. He was Baptist by faith, a member of Marshall Baptist Church, enjoyed the lake, working on old cars, tractors and boats, his donkey "Buddy" and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas Coleman and Nell Godowns Coleman and his brother, Larry Coleman. His survivors include his wife, Cathy Coleman; his sons, Ronald T. Coleman and Brandon Coleman (Courtney); his daughters, Tammy Coleman and Holly Wright (Jeff); sister, Angela Wolfe; his grandchildren, Jake Hobbs, (Caitlin), Justin Coleman, B. C. Wright, Ava Tula Wright, William Bonner, Colton Bonner (Amber), Emily Bonner and Ivy Higdon and great grandchild, Santana Bonner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia with his Funeral Service, being officiated by Pastor Billy Jo Paradise and Rev. Phil Pilgrim to follow at 2:00 p.m. in Beggs Funeral Home Chapel. The Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson, Georgia. Pallbearers for the service are Todd Wyrosdick, Chris Sinns, Allan Marsh, Justin Coleman, Colton Bonner and Matt Garthright. Honorary Pallbearers are Chase Beggs, Jerry Powell Jimmy Powell, Larry Benton, Bobby Benjamin, Robert Wimberly "Tick", Alex Ferguson, Wes Oldham, Steve Ellis John Willie Jones and Mike Bailey.
