Rogers "Boo" Crite

Mr. Rogers Crite, of Metasville Road, entered into rest on December 6, 2013.  He was the son of Martha Sims Crite and the late Nathan Crite.  A lifelong resident of Lincoln County, he had previously worked as a technician at Mayfair Mill.  More recently, he had assisted with the daily care of the elderly.

Survivors in addition to his mother are three sons:  Rogera Crite & friend Tenika Cullars of Washington; Agaris (Booney) Crite & wife, Shaunte, of Lincolnton, and Kiece Crite of Atlanta; a daughter, Shearice C. Hilton & husband, Roderick, of Lincolnton; two brothers: Jerome and Timothy Crite both of Lincolnton; a sister, Rosalyn C. Cartledge & husband, Bobby, of Thomson; and seven grandchildren along with a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 12th at 1:00pm in the Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Neal & Rev. Paul Reviere officiating.  Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
