Robert D. Turner

Mr. Turner, a native of Wilkes County, had lived in Saralane,Alabama and Charlotte before returning to the area many years ago. He was owner and manager of Lincoln Loan Company and Warrenton Finance Company. Also, he was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Lincolnton F&AM #354, Scottish Rite and was a Shriner. His daughter, Katherine Lynn Taylor, preceded him in death. Survivors: Wife: Tracey Fendley Turner Sons: David L. Turner and Fiancee' Alicia Picklesimer Cordell R. Turner, all of Lincolnton Daughter: Angela M. Turner, Richfield, NC Brothers: George H. Turner, and John L. Turner both of Lincolnton Sister: Mary T. Hulett, Augusta Grandchildren: Bradyn Robert Turner, Ashley Turner, Tristan Turner, and Kayalana Williamson Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 13th at Beulah Baptist Church at 2 o'clock p.m. with Rev. Johnny Griffith officiating. Masonic rites will be accorded at the interment in the church cemetery.
